From the Apennine hills dotted with historic castles to be crossed following fascinating paths and nature trails, to organised cycle paths leading through villages, landscapes, the scenery of the Po River and exclusive food and wine stops; from cities of art to international sporting events. Emilia in the summer is a concentration of events dedicated to biking, trekking and marathons.
EMILIAN MARATHONS
- Parma Marathon - 15 October 2023. A road race with the motto "Run your story", because everyone is given the chance to put their skills to the test.
- 27th Reggio Marathon "City of the Tricolour" - 10 December 2023. To explore the history of Reggio Emilia and taste its delicacies, an exciting route that will reach the hills of Quattro Castella and the lands of Matilde di Canossa, rich in historic castles.
